Pyrethrum is a botanical insect repellent made from dried Chrysanthemum flowers. This potent oil is found mostly in the tiny oil glands surrounding the seed casing and is composed of a combination of six chemical esters known as “pyrethrin.” It works to prevent mosquitos from biting and also causes immobilization and death.
